Fishing trip by boat on the Hvaler islands

M/B James is a nice fishing boat that offers fishing trips in the beautiful Hvaler archipelago. The boat is rented on an hourly basis, and includes local skipper and the necessary fishing gear. The skipper is has good local knowledge of the area and the best fishing spots.

 

It is also possible to rent the boat for charter trips in the National Park with a local guide.

 

Facts:

Minimum rent is 1 hour, but it is recommended that the trip lasts longer than this to get plenty of time for fishing. The boat has a capacity of 11 persons, but this is not recommended for fishing trips. The best experience will be four people for fishing from the boat and two by trolling.

M/S Vesleø 2

Sparkling sea, rocky cliffs and sea air are good for the soul. The boat Vesleø II brings you safely between Strømstad and Skjærhalden in both summer and winter.

Six days a week in the summer season, you can enjoy just under an hour on the sea between Hvaler and Sweden. Many choose to use the chance to shop in Strømstad, while also making use of the tax-free ticket on board.

The boat trip itself goes between the islands in the picture-perfect archipelago between Hvaler and Strømstad, well protected from the weather and wind should it be a slightly rough day. On the crossing you can study hidden coves, beautiful rocky cliffs and maybe a seal will appear?

You can find timetables for the whole year here. Vesleø II takes you to Strømstad all year round, in winter with four departures on Friday and Saturday, in summer with six departures six days a week.

Vesleø II can also be rented for charter, think so idyllically with near and dear ones on a boat trip together around the Kosterøyene.
