Nedgården overnatting | Søndre Sandøy

The beautiful newly built sea arches are perfectly located on the beach by the ferry berth at Nedgården, and are in the middle of nowhere when you want to enjoy the archipelago idyll, whether for a short weekend or for a longer holiday stay. 

Contains combined living room/kitchen furnished with lounge, TV, dab radio, dining table/chairs, dishwasher, oven/hob, fridge, freezer and all other kitchen equipment. 2 bedrooms, 1 with a double bed and 1 with a family bunk, bathroom, hallway and loft.

The loft is 30 square meters. with 190cm ceiling height in the middle and has 2 pcs. 120cm beds, large TV and seating options. The bathroom has heating cables, wc, shower, bathroom fittings, washing machine/dryer. Veranda with garden furniture, barbecue, awning and heat lamps.

During the school holidays, the island's meeting place Cafe Oline is open every day. Here there is a quiz every Tuesday and concerts 1-2 days a week.

The cafe is also open during the winter holidays, Easter, the autumn holidays and certain weekends.

Aktivitetsbyen – Fredrikstad Motel & Camping

Aktivitetsbyen Gamle Fredrikstad “The activity town” (formerly Fredrikstad Motel and Camping) have 100 campsites, 24 motel rooms and 18 cabins. Aktivitetsbyen also operates the golf facility at Kongsten in cooperation with Old Fredrikstad Golf Club.

The area in and around the campsite has activities for everyone. With Østfold's finest outdoor adventure golf course (minigolf deluxe), pay-and-play golf course, football golf and tennis. Within walking distance of the campsite you will also find Kongstensbadet and the well preserved fortress town; the Old Town.

Hvaler Camping AS

Hvaler Camping AS is situated at Spjærøy on Hvaler, and is perfect for families. There are 13 camping cabins available in 3 different sizes. There are also spaces available for camping vans.
On site you will find toilets, showers, a washing machine, and sinks for washing up dishes.
Hvaler Camping AS is open from April until September.
The camping site is licensed, meaning you can purchase alcohol. You can also purchase food here.

Hvaler cabin rental

The cabins are newly built and consists of a living room with kitchenette, 1 bedroom with 3 beds, loft room with 2-3 beds. There is running water in the cabins. Fully equipped to 4-5 people. We also have a cabin with shower / WC and 2 bedrooms. Separate sanitation building with showers / WC. Driveway and parking at the cabins.

 

The cabins are located in a child-friendly and quiet area. 5-10 minutes to the sea / beach, 3.5 km to Hvalers finest beach, Storesand, 4 km to Skjærhalden center, with shops, restaurants and daily boat connections with Stromstad. 

 

The site is located at the beautiful terrain and very good opportunities for fishing.

Bevø Camping

Bevø Camping is a scenic campsite about 15 minutes from the center of Fredrikstad and the Old Town. 

With new owners and a significant upgrade in 2022, the campsite has a great location, right by the sea, and has got a new kiosk, country store and food truck. 

One large cabin and two smaller ones are available for rent.  

The service house with showers and toilets is open, and was renovated in 2022.
