Hvaler Golf

Hvaler is the region of Norway with most days of sunshine, making it possible to play on summer greens all year round. During construction of the course great emphasis was placed on preserving the fascinating natural landscape. The fairways utilize areas that were initially cleared for farming purposes. The club is well known for its excellent infrastructure with short distances between the clubhouse, driving range, short course, and parking facilities.

 

The enclosed greens and fairways are also a mark of the club’s professional standards. These distinctive features, together with the strategically placed water hazards and sand traps, make for a delightful round of golf that you will remember for a long time.

Huseby and Hankø Golf Club

The golf course has been strategically designed and offers a real challenge to the experienced golfer, while also being suitable for beginners. It is a 9-hole coastal course, par 3, with a fascinating design. The short distance between holes makes for a quick round of golf. There is a long season and the greens are of highest quality. Reasonable membership rates.

 

There is a simple 6-hole short course beside the main course, a short play training area with a target green and sand trap, a putting green, and a driving range with 20 tees, 10 of them covered.

 

Adjoining the golf course is the charming and friendly clubhouse, strategically positioned with views of the course and the fjord. The parking area is centrally placed at a short distance from the clubhouse, course, and practice facilities.

Aktivitetsbyen Gamle Fredrikstad has activities for everyone. With Østfold's finest outdoor adventure golf course (minigolf deluxe), pay-and-play golf course, football golf and tennis. Within walking distance of the campsite you will also find Kongstensbadet and the well preserved fortress town; the Old Town.

Aktivitetsbyen Gamle Fredrikstad “The activity town” (formerly Fredrikstad Motel and Camping) have 100 campsites, 24 motel rooms and 18 cabins. Aktivitetsbyen also operates the golf facility at Kongsten in cooperation with Old Fredrikstad Golf Club.

Gamle Fredrikstad Golf Course

The new Gamle Fredrikstad Golf Course is uniquely situated beside the Old Town of Fredrikstad. The course can be described as a park course with links characteristics and its difficult greens and many water hazards offer plenty of challenges. The construction and functions of the strategic design are inspired by famous courses, such as Kingsbarns Links in Scotland.
