Stuevika is a great tent site on idyllic Søndre Sandøy Island in Hvaler. The place has a great long shallow and child-friendly sandy beach and under the pine trees inside there is a small tent pitch – it's the simple outdoor life that applies. There is limited tent space and no other accommodation options on the island, so it is important to book your place in advance.

Søndre Sandøy is a short ferry ride from Skjærhalden on Kirkøy. The island is almost car-free, and the distance from the ferry berth at Nedgården (on Søndre Sandøy) to Stuevika is approx. 2 km.  There is a nice cycle path, and you can take a bicycle with you on the ferry. The area boasts scenic surroundings all year round, fishing opportunities, great scenery for walks in the woods and fields and a nice child-friendly sandy beach with shallow water. There are not many places like this. There is a restaurant on the island – Café Oline –  but no shops.
