Båthuset Scene is a versatile venue offering an authentic atmosphere, modern sound and lighting systems, and flexible solutions for a wide range of events. The venue accommodates up to 900 standing guests or 500 seated.

With a large outdoor seating area on the riverside dock, a fully licensed bar, and a state-of-the-art LED screen, Båthuset Scene is ideal for concerts, theatre performances, stand-up comedy, corporate events, and cultural happenings.

Originally an engine workshop known as FM-skuret, the building housed Fredrikstad Motorfabrikk from 1923 to 1998. In 2006, it was transformed into a cultural space. Today, original industrial details meet modern upgrades – from glass walls and a cocktail bar to one of the city's largest outdoor seating areas.

Whether for a show, launch, conference or party – Båthuset Scene combines character, history and top facilities.

Båthuset – Magasinet

Båthuset is an exciting venue that can be rented for larger events at Isegran. Båthuset is an authentic boat workshop that provides a fantastic setting for the party – maritime and rustic. The boathouse has its own stage, taps and room for up to 250 people. The walls can be opened and give a fantastic view over Glomma and towards Fredrikstad city.

With its idyllic surroundings, Isegran is the perfect venue for events of all kinds. Isegran is the beautiful island located where Glomma divides into Østerelva and Vesterelva in Fredrikstad. The perfect place for food, culture and recreation. Historic Isegran can be reached via Kråkerøybroen or by Byfergen from the Old Town or the city center.

The magazine is located on the idyllic island of Isegran, located midway between the Old Town and Fredrikstad city center. They offer quality food, good drinks and a pleasant environment in historic surroundings, in addition to accommodation and rental of party rooms and amphitheater on Isegran.

Taket – Quality Hotel Fredrikstad

"Taket" –  panoramic views of Fredrikstad city on top of Quality Hotel Fredrikstad. The popular "sky bar" has an intimate atmosphere and a beautiful roof terrace that can be used all year round.

Taket is well suited for arranging summer parties, weddings and other events. The modern premises give an urban metropolitan feel with panoramic views of Fredrikstad city center. The roof terrace has glass walls so that the outdoor area can be used all year round. In summer, the roof terrace is filled with green plants, palm trees and flowers. Ceilings and walls can be opened, and there are heat lamps in the ceiling.

INFORMATION AND CAPACITY
Taket is a flexible room and the capacity will vary in relation to the desired layout. There is a separate bar in the room, modern AV equipment and the room is also connected to five beautiful group rooms with large windows and great views. The hotel offers a varied menu, and in addition they can offer a barbecue buffet on the roof terrace with their own chef.

Capacity – indoors:
Class layout: 100 people – with space for stage elements. Long table: 140 people – with space for stage elements. Round tables: 100 people – with space for stage elements.

Capacity – roof terrace:
Two long tables: 50 people – with space for a small stage. Royal table: 30 people – with space for a small stage.

Taket is located on the 8th floor of the Quality Hotel in Fredrikstad. A beautiful and modern hotel in the center of Fredrikstad. The hotel is located in the main pedestrian street, and just a stone throw from the pier in Fredrikstad, with its good selection of restaurants, shops, cafés and galleries.

Roald Amundsens birthplace

In the premises at Roald Amundsen Fødested, you can celebrate an important occasion in historical surroundings.

Originally, the farmyard here was much larger, when Roald Amundsen's ancestors in 1858 bought the large farm "Østre Vesten". This was later divided into 4 equal parts where Roald's father, Jens Engelbregt Amundsen, built "Tomta" – the skipper's house which was completed the same year. This is where Roald Amundsen was born. Jens also later built a house for his two unmarried sisters, and his eldest brother also expanded and ran a farm nearby. In recent times, Roald Amundsen often referred back to his roots here on "Tomta" and he spent a lot of time here both as a child and youth. Even as a good adult, he had strong family ties to his hometown and large family.

Today you can rent the newly renovated barn next to "Tomta" for larger or smaller parties such as weddings, baptisms, anniversaries, conferences etc. If you want a tailor-made price offer for other events such as concerts or lectures, contact the landlord.

Blå Grotte

Blå Grotte offers two distinctive venues, perfect for hosting a variety of events.

Main Stage "Grotta" – Ideal for dance performances, concerts, revues, theater, choirs, and brass bands. With flexible capacity and state-of-the-art technical solutions, this hall is well suited for both cultural events and conferences.

Fullriggeren Najaden | Isegran

An event on board the full-rig Najaden will give you a very special experience. From the barge, guests have a fantastic view of the river, the center of Fredrikstad and the Old Town. The full-rig Najaden is stuck at the quay and cannot sail, but is rented out as a sailing venue and cultural arena on a year-round basis.

Najaden has a fixed roof over the deck, and is well suited for jubilee, confirmation and wedding holidays. 

On board the Najaden, the group will experience an informal and rustic boat environment. There is the possibility of dining both above and below deck. It is set on a long table, with benches. Catering can be ordered at Mormors Café in Gamlebyen at camilla@mormorscafe.com.
