Scandic City facilitates good processes with 8 meeting rooms with a capacity from 4 to 430 people. The hotel's capacity means that no companies is too small, and few become too large.
The conference rooms are traditionally furnished and have light, sound and image processing systems in place. Adjacent to the premises are the common areas with serving of coffee, refreshments and break food. Service-minded conference hosts and hostesses ensure that the customer's requirements for quality, efficiency and comfort are met for a successful event.
Three of the meeting rooms have a Barco ClikShare system. With three simple steps, you are connected to the performance screen on the wall. This system works with all devices.
City Scene (stage) is available for meetings, conferences and dinner shows, and is an exciting venue that breaks with the traditional meeting room. The room is directly connected to the kitchen, as well as the stage, has its own bars and is over two floors.
South east of the Oslo fjord, about an hour's drive from Oslo and 15 minutes from Fredrikstad, is one of Norway's most beautiful islands, Hankø. (3 minutes by ferry to the mainland)
Today the hotel is situated where Hankø bad og Kystsanatorium was built in 1877. It was here artists and aristocrats came to endulge in mud baths and drink healthy mineral water. This business ceased operations during the latter part of the 1930s.
Some 70 years later, in 2002, Hankø Fjordhotell and spa opened its doors to one of the finest spas in Scandinavia. Your wellbeing and relaxation is of upmost important to us. We are proud to offer a hotel with natural and historical surroundings, such as tombs from the Bronze Age. The hotel also has 4 tennis courts, a mini golf course, a sporting hall (Hankøhallen), football ground and our own beach (Trouville).
At Hankø there are 160 private summer houses. Among these is the royal family's, which is just a stone's throw away from the hotel. The royal family has a fond interest of sailing, making Hankø an excellent destination for them.
Brottet amfi and Amphicavern is an exciting alternative for cultural events, meetings, events or parties in the beautiful Hvalerskjærgården. They can be rented together, or separately.
The broken amphitheater, built in an old quarry on Spjærøy Hvaler, had its first set-up with the musical "Stenhogger’n" in July 2005. This "Greek amphitheater" can accommodate approx. 500 spectators.

Amfigrotta is a great venue that is well suited for meetings, parties and events, lectures, acoustic concerts, seminars / meetings and private celebrations. In Amfigrotta it can be covered for up to 60 people. Here there is a well-equipped kitchen, toilets and cloakroom. In the kiosk next door you can have a cold room. The room is also equipped with a projector and screen and from the spring of 2018 will also have internet access.

Restaurant Slippen has an idyllic riverside location in the centre of Fredrikstad. The chef and his staff are proud of the fact that all their dishes are prepared from fresh produce – they use fresh Norwegian meat and seafood. If your desire is a fish soup for lunch or a five-course evening meal, this is the right place. The facilities are also ideal for large groups, meetings and work events.

Båthuset is an exciting venue that can be rented for larger events at Isegran. Båthuset is an authentic boat workshop that provides a fantastic setting for the party – maritime and rustic. The boathouse has its own stage, taps and room for up to 250 people. The walls can be opened and give a fantastic view over Glomma and towards Fredrikstad city.
With its idyllic surroundings, Isegran is the perfect venue for events of all kinds. Isegran is the beautiful island located where Glomma divides into Østerelva and Vesterelva in Fredrikstad. The perfect place for food, culture and recreation. Historic Isegran can be reached via Kråkerøybroen or by Byfergen from the Old Town or the city center.

Blå Grotte is an arena for cultural events such as theatre shows, concerts, stand up, and other shows. The arena has in recent years become a popular destination for a growing number of artists from both Norway and abroad. Blå Grotte consists of “Grotte”, the main arena with a capacity of 420, while the arena “Speilet”, situated upstairs, has a capacity of 135.
