Raised within reach of the Ohio River, Jeremy Pinnell grew up listening to a musical soundtrack as broad as midwestern skies. After making his debut with OH/KY — a career-launching album built on the borderline of Rust Belt roots music and raw, unflinching country — he began broadening his sound, nodding to the influences that first sparked his interest as a Kentucky teenager.
His fourth record, Decades, finds him reaching a new level of hook-heavy songwriting, melding the radio-friendly choruses Pinnell heard as a child with the songwriting chops that have since turned him into an Ameripolitan Music Award winner. Produced by two-time GRAMMY recipient Shooter Jennings, Decades finds its frontman in a reflective mood, balancing the uplift of his melodies with the gravity of his most personal lyrics to date.
